Senior Product Manager
United Kingdom · Remote
About this role
Remote (UK or Europe) | Permanent | Full-Time About BR-DGE BR-DGE is an award-winning FinTech founded in Edinburgh, powered by a high-performing, remote-first team across the UK and beyond. Our platform gives e-commerce and technology businesses the freedom and flexibility to redefine how they handle payments. Since 2018, we’ve been pioneers in payment orchestration, enabling enterprise brands to optimise their infrastructure and create frictionless digital experiences. From travel giants to household retail names, our global customer base is growing fast, supported by world-class partners like Visa and Worldpay. We are at an inflection point, scaling our platform, deepening our partnerships, and expanding into new markets. If you want to shape the future of payment orchestration, this is your moment. About the opportunity As our Senior Product Manager, you will take strategic ownership of a core area of the BR-DGE platform. You will set the vision, define the roadmap, and lead discovery, working across commercial, technical, and operational functions to ensure we build the right things for the right reasons. This is a role with genuine scope. You will operate as a strategist and decision-maker, partnering closely with the VP of Product to shape the overall product direction, while collaborating with Product Owners who translate that strategy into well-structured delivery. It is an opportunity to build product capabilities at scale, with the visibility and influence that comes from being part of a high-growth FinTech. What you’ll be doing Own a product domain end-to-end: You will be accountable for its strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes, making crisp prioritisation decisions that balance merchant value with business impact. Define and champion the roadmap: You will work with the VP of Product to sequence what gets built, grounding every decision in market insight, customer evidence, and commercial opportunity. Lead discovery: You will identify the relevant personas (e.g. payments teams, finance teams) of our customer and prospect base (merchants and PSPs), engaging with representative users to tease out the payment problems to solve to support their core business. Use vibe coding: You will produce prototypes to articulate requirements and for show and tell with key internal and external stakeholders. Market intelligence: You will get to know the core business of our targeted Ideal Customer Profile and learn what payment 'means' for them and their different personas. Working together with the BR-DGE Marketing team, you will capture key market trends and competitive intelligence to deliver valuable outcomes for our customers. Set and own success metrics: You will define what "good" looks like for your product domain and hold yourself accountable to outcomes, not just delivery milestones. Bridge strategy and execution: You will partner with Product Owners to ensure requirements become well-structured, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can move on with confidence. Govern the backlog with rigour: You will review and triage enhancement requests, ensuring everything entering the pipeline has a coherent rationale and is properly sequenced relative to strategic priorities. Enable seamless merchant go-lives: You will equip the onboarding team with the product context and knowledge they need to deliver frictionless launch experiences. Influence the product culture: You will contribute to the maturity of the wider product function as BR-DGE scales its team and practices. What we’re looking for Proven success as a Senior Product Manager in the payments industry, with a track record of owning the full product lifecycle from high-level strategy through to delivery, alongside deep knowledge of the payments landscape. Substantial experience navigating complex merchant domains and requirements, gained in-house or through strategic partnerships. Advanced understanding of merchant workflows to seamless
