Position: Bilingual Japanese Generalist Expert — AI Safety Type: Contract Compensation: $48–$52/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Write expert-level prompts in Japanese across a range of sensitive subject areas. Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations. Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns. Document the reasoning behind your judgments. Work independently and asynchronously to evaluate and strengthen AI models handling sensitive topics. Qualifications Must-Have Native or near-native fluency in Japanese . Business-level written English . A Bachelor's degree , completed or in progress. Strong written reasoning and high attention to detail. Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information. Preferred Based in Japan or the wider East Asia region. Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content. Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.
