About this role

Headquarters: Tampa, Florida URL: https://koast.ai Head of Operations | Full-time | Remote (US hours) | Reports to the CEO | Growth path to VP of Operations / COO Koast is the AI operating layer for teams that run Meta ads at volume. Agencies, in-house media buying teams, and enterprise buyers managing 10+ ad accounts and launching 50+ ads a week use Koast to launch faster, automate optimizations off real attribution data, and see every account from one Command Center. The Koast Agent is the next layer: an AI that reads the account, spots what matters, and acts inside guardrails. We are bootstrapped, profitable, and growing faster than our processes. Customers are onboarding weekly through direct sales and partnerships, contractors span three time zones, and the CEO is still the person who notices when an invoice did not go out or a new customer never got their onboarding call. That stops with this hire. You will be one of the first ten full-time employees at Koast. You will own how the company runs so the CEO can own where it goes. You are the anchor between engineering, support, customer success, and sales: the person who makes sure the vision the CEO sets actually gets executed, at a high standard, across every function. This is not a back-office seat. You will live inside the product. You will know the launch flow, the Command Center, and the Agent well enough to run a customer onboarding yourself, reproduce a bug before you file it, and tell engineering which support ticket is a one-off and which one is a pattern. What you will own The anchor between functions. Sales promises something, engineering ships something, support hears about the gap. You sit in the middle of all four and close it. You will own the handoffs (sales to onboarding, support to engineering, engineering to customer success), make sure each team knows what the others are doing, and turn the CEO's priorities into a plan each function can execute this week. The operating cadence. Weekly priorities, the metrics review, the state-of-the-union thread, the quarterly plan. You will build the rhythm the company runs on and make sure every function knows what it owes and when. Revenue operations. The pipeline from lead to paid to renewed. GoHighLevel, Stripe, Granola, and the automations that tie them together. Clean data, accurate MRR and churn, a sales rep who never has to ask "where does this deal go." Customer operations. Onboarding, support triage in Intercom, escalations, renewals, and the handoff from sales to success. Every enterprise account gets a named owner, a kickoff, and a 30-day check-in, and you will know which ones are at risk before they tell us. People and contractors. Hiring pipelines, contractor agreements, onboarding docs, payroll and payouts, performance check-ins. As we go from a handful of contractors to a real team, you will build the system that makes each new person productive in their first week. Finance operations. Bookkeeping hygiene, monthly close with our accountant, cash forecasting, vendor and tool spend, partner payouts (Whop, affiliates, referral partners). Not the CFO seat. The person who makes sure the numbers are right and the CEO sees them on the first of the month. Partnerships and vendors. Contracts, renewals, compliance items (Meta platform terms, data policies), and the operational side of partnerships like Whop and Flex: who owes what, by when, and whether it happened. Systems and automation. You will look at every recurring manual task and ask whether Zapier, an internal tool, or an AI agent should be doing it instead. Then you will build it or spec it for someone who can. What you will do week to week Run the weekly ops review: pipeline, churn, cash, hiring, blockers. One page, numbers first. Use Koast every day. Run onboardings in it, triage support tickets against it, and bring engineering the patterns, not the anecdotes. Translate the CEO's quarterly priorities into a plan with owners and dates across sales, sup
