Position: Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Expert — Data Centers Type: Contract Compensation: $100–$140/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 5–10 hours/week Role Responsibilities Review complex engineering tasks in data-center projects to ensure realistic design and construction scenarios. Evaluate structural and civil design, geotechnical inputs, and compliance with building codes and AHJ requirements . Identify and resolve ambiguities, conflicting documents, and unrealistic deliverables. Improve task prompts, acceptance criteria, and programmatic checks for better alignment with professional standards. Produce clear technical findings and validate tasks from start to finish. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve task quality. Qualifications Must-Have 2+ years of experience in data centers or complex infrastructure projects. Strong command of U.S. building codes and engineering standards. Ability to interpret large document sets, specifications, and technical registers. Preferred Experience in roles such as Senior Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or Project Architect. PE , SE , or RA credentials. Experience at a leading multidisciplinary AEC or consulting engineering firm.
